From one-off pieces to personalised short runs, we laser engrave logos, individual names, numbering and fine detail onto suitable metal, glass, acrylic, plastics, leather-style materials and more.

Our UV laser marks with very little heat, making it particularly useful for delicate materials and detailed work where scorching or excessive heat would be a problem. With production handled in-house in Swindon, there is no minimum order.
You do not need hundreds of identical items.
Laser engraving works particularly well when the value is in the detail rather than the quantity. One item can carry a name, ten can each be different, or a short run can combine a logo with individual numbering or personalisation.

Because we produce the work in-house, we can test unusual materials, adjust artwork, run small batches and personalise items without needing the minimum quantities that often come with outsourced production.

That makes it useful for client gifts, staff recognition, awards, hospitality pieces, event merchandise and one-off branded items where every piece needs to feel considered.
What we can produce in-house.
Logos and brand marking

Logos, symbols and fine graphic detail can be marked onto suitable products without adding ink, vinyl or a separate printed layer. This works particularly well on metal, coated products and other materials where a clean, permanent finish is more appropriate than a surface print.
Individual names and personalisation

Every item in a run can be different. Names, initials, dates, job titles or short messages can be added individually, making the process useful for client gifts, staff awards, event merchandise and hospitality items where personalisation adds value.
Numbering and identification

Sequential numbers, asset references, room numbers, membership numbers and other identifiers can be engraved directly onto suitable items. This can be useful for awards, equipment, access pieces, limited editions and products that need to be individually tracked or identified.
Short runs and unusual materials

Because the machine is in-house, we can test materials and work with quantities that may not suit conventional outsourced production. Suitable metals, glass, acrylic, plastics, leather-style materials and other substrates can all be explored, depending on their surface and finish.
For unusual items, we prefer to test first rather than assume the material will behave as expected.
Ideas for using laser engraving more effectively.

The simplest way to get more from laser engraving is to stop making every item identical.
A logo can be combined with an individual name, job title, number or short message, turning a standard item into something much more considered.
That works particularly well for client gifts, staff recognition, awards and event pieces.
Make every item personal.
Laser engraving is particularly useful when the quantity is low but the finish still needs to feel premium.
Instead of committing to a large order to justify the production method, smaller batches can be engraved in-house with the same care and detail.
That makes the service useful for short-run campaigns, one-off presentations, internal gifting and bespoke hospitality items.
Add value to smaller runs.
Some of the best results come from products that already have a useful job to do.
Bottles, pens, luggage tags, keyrings, plaques, desk accessories and similar items can all become more distinctive when they are engraved rather than simply printed.
The result usually feels cleaner, more permanent and more integrated with the product itself.
Turn practical items into branded assets.
Laser engraving is not only for logos and gifts.
It can also be used for numbering, room references, asset identification, limited editions and other forms of marking that need to be accurate and durable.
That makes it useful for hospitality, events, internal operations and branded products that need more than a decorative finish.
Use engraving for numbering and identification.

Talk to us when standard branding is not quite enough.
When you need one item rather than one hundred.

When every piece needs a different name, number or message.

When you want a cleaner, more permanent finish than a printed logo.

When the item or material is unusual and needs testing before anything is committed.
When you need short-run client gifts, staff recognition pieces, event items or hospitality products produced in-house.
When you want to combine laser engraving with other finishes, packaging or branded merchandise to create something more considered.

You do not need to arrive with a finished specification. Bring us the item, the idea or the problem and we will work out what is possible.

Questions clients ask us about laser engraving.
Laser engraving can be used on a wide range of materials including metal, glass, acrylic, suitable plastics, leather-style materials, wood, ceramics and other specialist surfaces.

The result will vary depending on the material, coating, colour and finish, which is why we prefer to test unfamiliar products before committing to a full run.

Our in-house UV laser is particularly useful for detailed marking on materials that can be difficult to process with more heat-intensive laser systems.

If you are unsure whether something can be engraved, send us a photograph or sample and we can assess it before production.
What materials can be laser engraved?
Yes. There is no minimum order for our in-house laser engraving service.

We can produce a single engraved item, a handful of personalised pieces or a short production run without requiring hundreds of identical products.

This makes laser engraving particularly useful for one-off client gifts, awards, staff recognition, prototypes, event pieces and personalised merchandise.

Larger quantities are also possible, but the real advantage of producing the work in-house is that small quantities can still be practical.
Can you laser engrave a single item?
Yes. Each item in a laser engraving run can carry different information, including individual names, initials, numbers, dates, job titles or short messages.

A company logo can remain consistent across the whole run while the personalisation changes from item to item.

This works particularly well for employee gifts, client merchandise, numbered limited editions, awards, hospitality items and events where every recipient needs something different.

The variable information should ideally be supplied in a clear list or spreadsheet so it can be checked before engraving begins.
Can every item have a different name or number?
Yes. Laser engraving and marking can be used on many metal products, including stainless steel, aluminium and coated metals, depending on the finish and construction of the item.

Typical applications include bottles, pens, tags, metal cards, plaques, tools and promotional products.

The exact appearance depends on the metal and its coating. On some products the laser removes or changes the surface finish to reveal a contrasting mark, while other metals respond differently.

For unfamiliar products, we recommend testing first so the expected contrast and finish can be confirmed before the full quantity is produced.
Can you laser engrave metal?
UV laser engraving uses ultraviolet light to mark or engrave a surface with very little heat transfer compared with many conventional laser processes.

That makes UV technology particularly useful for detailed work and materials that can be sensitive to heat, including certain plastics, glass, acrylic and coated products.

It can create very fine marks without relying on ink, vinyl or a printed layer being added to the surface.

UV is not automatically the best process for every material or application. The important part is matching the laser process to the item, finish and result required.
What is UV laser engraving?
Yes, in many cases we can engrave items supplied by the client rather than requiring you to buy the product through us.

The item first needs to be checked for material, coating, dimensions, shape and whether it can be positioned safely within the machine.

Where the material or finish is unfamiliar, we may recommend testing a spare item before engraving the final piece. This is particularly important with coated products, specialist plastics or items where there is no replacement available.

If you already have the product, send us photographs, dimensions and details of the material where known and we can advise whether it is suitable.
